Coronavirus: bus shuttles reserved only for the hospital staff in Paris

In this period of confinement to fight against the coronavirus epidemic, RATP is said to lower the metro, RER and bus traffic even more as of March 23^rd. To allow the hospital staff in Île-de-France go to their workplaces without difficulties, Île-de-France region and Île-de-France Mobilités president Valérie Pécresse and RATP director general president Catherine Guillouard in partnership with Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris have announced a new measure.

Starting from Monday March 23^rd and indefinitely will be set up 20 shuttle services exclusively reserved for the hospital staff of the Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris.

With a service running from 5:50 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 12:05 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 6:50 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. and one shuttle every 30 minutes on each line, these shuttles will drive between the large transit poles and the large hospital poles. They will revolve around four main stations in Paris (Gare de Lyon, Gare d’Austerlitz, Gare Montparnasse and Gare du Nord) to serve the Bretonneau hospital, the Neck hospital, the Georges Pompidou hospital, the Cochin hospital, the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital and even the Broca hospital, the Saint-Antoine hospital and the Armand-Trousseau hospital.

Note that preventive measures for commuters and drives set up on board of these shuttles devoted to the hospital staff are the same as those on regular lines: security window, gate on night mode, front door closed, barrier tape behind the driver’s booth, travelers will board through the back door.
