The Musée Picasso takes part in Museums Night with an absolutely delightful program. From 6 p.m., on Saturday May 18, 2019, the entrance to the Musée Picasso and the temporary Calder-Picasso exhibition will be free of charge.
In addition to open the doors of the museum devoted to the works by the genius Spanish artist, the Musée Picasso offers us a beautiful meditation lesson with the famous choreographer Yoann Bourgeois.
Indeed, the museum has given free rein to Yoann Bourgeois and the CCN2-Centre choréographique national de Grenoble who will stop time with Notre Musique. All night long, Marie Vauding and Yurié Tsugawa will dance on a round-bottomed platform, always staying in an endless unbalance.
All night long, both artists - their bodies trapped on the platform - will swing in an endless unbalance and will finally stop time in an intimate and poetic performance. Note that Yoann Bourgeois won't be present at the Musée Picasso for this Museums Night since he will be on the stage of the Grand Palais... You know what to do!
