World Music Day 2018: the Debussy conservatoire at the Musée Henner

In 2018, the Musée Henner takes part again in World Music Day by inviting Conservatoire Debussy students to take over the place for free concerts scheduled on Thursday June 21, 2018.

For World Music Day 2018, the Musée Henner once again welcomes students from Conservatoire Debussy for a day filled with music animations, to be discovered in the Musée Henner collections, one of the rare testimonies of the architecture during the 3rd Republic.

This coming June 21, Conservatoire Debussy will be lit so will the museum with an exclusive music program.

From 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., head to the winter garden of the museum for concerts and masterclasses provided by students from Conservatoire Debussy.

Then, you’ll be enjoying a concert of traditional Iranian music by Parastou Khandanifoumani (musician) and Yekta Etemadi (singer) in partnership with the Artestan association.

Finally, the museum will propose a concert of pianist Joseph Birnbaum with works of Domenico Scarlatti, Jean-Sebastien Bach and Ludwig van Beethoven.
