A procession including about fifteen art platforms, surrounded by musicians and dancers will walk from the Place de la Concorde to the Place de la Bastille to start the White Night in Paris on Saturday October 5, 2019.
From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., marching bands from all over Paris and Ile de France as well as musicians from all over the world are exceptionally gathered for the event held by the Philharmonie de Paris and will walk all along the rue de Rivoli for a parade entirely created by contemporary artists.
This traveling exhibition is the occasion to celebrate the beginning of this yearly night and enables Parisians and tourists to discover a procession of fantastic, poetic or more experimental works created by artists of all backgrounds and all generations.
Prior to the parade, we can discover, from 2 p.m., these platforms set between the Petit Palais and the Grand Palais on the Avenue Winston Churchill and walk between these works as if it’s an open-air museum!

And from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m., when the Parade will end, musicians will remain and keep playing together at the Place de la Bastille, while the platforms will continue to ride so that everyone can join a precise place in Paris or outside. Floats will then turn into a music stage, a public sculpture or a visual show…
