Nuit Blanche is back this Saturday, June 7, 2025: from 4 p.m. until 6 a.m., hundreds of events await us in Paris and the surrounding towns. One question remains, however: how can we get around all night long? Will buses, metros and RERs be with us all night long during this cultural event?
Every year, the Nuit Blanche is a much-anticipated event in Paris and the Île-de-France region, and it's out of the question to stay at home and miss this festive evening, for fear of not being able to get home at 4am. Only this time, you'll have to do without the usual metro, RER and bus services provided by RATP and Île-de-France Mobilités, to get around during this not-to-be-missed cultural event.
Previously, RATP had left some metro lines open all night, in addition to the Noctilien buses whose frequency was increased, so that visitors could enjoy the Nuit Blanche installations and performances all evening long. Unfortunately, this 2025 edition will have to go ahead without such transport. " This year, no specific transport plan will be put in place for the evening. Subways, streetcars and RERs will run at their usual times. The Grenelle bridge will be closed to traffic, impacting in particular bus lines and the Noctilien in this sector ", indicates the RATP on its website.
This is bad news for all Nuit Blanche fans, who intend to make the most of every event, some of which last until 6am. So what's the best way to get in on the action?
On Saturdays, the metro runs until 2.15am. The RER stops at around 1am. The Noctilien network operates from 0.30 a.m. to around 5.30 a.m. If you'd rather make the most of this mild weather, and get back into shape at the same time, take advantage of the self-service bikes and scooters in Paris. If you have longer distances to cover (or tired legs) , cabs and VTC services are always available.
So, what's your program for this Nuit Blanche in Paris?
