The RATP and SNCF networks will experience new disruptions this weekend, December 20 and 21, 2025. Several RER, Transilien, and metro lines will be affected by maintenance works and service interruptions. Here's everything you need to know to plan your journeys accordingly.
A new weekend of maintenance is scheduled on the RATP and SNCF networks across Île-de-France from Saturday, December 20 to Sunday, December 21, 2025. The goal is to continue work on the Grand Paris projects, including the upgrades and extensions of metro lines coming soon, as well as ensuring the network remains in top shape. Should we expect a busy schedule of disruptions this time, or will the weekend stay relatively quiet?

A replacement bus service is in place:
- From Paris, take the RER A to Noisy-le-Grand Mont d’Est, where buses depart for Tournan.
- From Paris, transfer via Metro Line 11 to Rosny-Bois-Perrier, from where buses serve all stations up to Villiers-sur-Marne (towards Noisy-le-Grand Mont d’Est RER A).
- From Tournan to Nogent-le-Perreux heading to Paris, take a bus to Val-de-Fontenay and then catch the RER A to reach Paris.
- From Villiers-sur-Marne to Rosny-sous-Bois, travel by bus to Rosny-Bois-Perrier, then take Metro Line 11 into the city.
- The last two buses departing from Tournan are bound for Gare de l'Est.
- Buses also run between Rosny-Bois-Perrier and Noisy-le-Grand Mont d’Est RER A, as well as from Tournan to Rosny-Bois-Perrier.
Please note that starting Thursday, November 6, 2025, the replacement bus stops will be permanently relocated to 19 Avenue du Bois Saint-Martin. An informational sign at the station provides pedestrian guidance toward the new stops.
