" This (controlled) increase in Navigo pass fares will help finance the operation of a public transport network in the Paris region that is continuing to develop ", Île-de-France Mobilités explained in a press release published on December 6, 2023, adding that several metro and RER line extensions would be inaugurated in 2024.
