Nuit Blanche 2025: a special code makes Vélib' available free of charge all night long

Every year, lovers ofcontemporary art and party-goers in Paris and thegreater Paris region gather around a very special date. On the first Saturday in June, Nuit Blanche transforms every corner of Paris into an open-air art gallery. In the streets, squares, museums, monuments and gardens, hundreds of free artistic events are on hand to enchant and surprise us, and make for an unforgettable evening.

This major cultural event lives up to its name: you can enjoy all kinds of entertainment from 5pm to 6am. In theory, that is... Because while Nuit Blanche keeps Paris buzzing all night long, the subways aren't working overtime. Without public transport, it's harder to get from museum to gallery until the wee hours of the morning.
