Christmas begins on Avenue Montaigne and rue François 1er from November 17, 2021 with charming Christmas lights. As usual, streets are adorned with garlands and trees for the greatest joy of Parisians, tourists luxury store customers. And this year, Plaza Athénée's current chef Jean Imbert is to inaugurate this new edition of the Christmas llights.
In addition to magical lights, Comité Montaigne invites us to discover a new shopping experience called Christmas Montaigne: on Sundays all along December (from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.), Avenue Montaigne houses and their surroundings will open to Parisians and tourists in a friendly and warm atmosphere: animations, discoveries, tastings, surprises…
In addition to magical lights, Comité Montaigne presents the new edition of the Sapins de Noël des Créateurs [Designers’ Christmas Trees] displayed at the Plaza Athénée and auctioned for the cancer research. 20 artists and designers have been deploying their talent and inspiration to create always more majestic trees, exhibited in the prestigious Plaza Athénée hotel and displayed to everyone until the auction for a charity. Let us hope we will find them next year!
Moreover, all along this period, the stores of the Avenue Montaigne will be open on Sundays to help you with your Christmas shopping.
