The Zadkine Museum in Paris is celebrating Art Deco with Zadkine Art Déco, an exceptional exhibition running from November 15, 2025, to April 12, 2026. More than 90 works, sculptures, and pieces of furniture reveal Ossip Zadkine's close ties with the master decorators of the 1920s and 1930s.

The Musée Zadkine: the sculptor's studio-museum near the Jardin du Luxembourg

On the edge of the Jardin du Luxembourg, the Musée Zadkine in Paris opens its doors to its permanent collection, free of charge, all year round, in the heart of a green setting populated by sculptures. Nestled at 100 bis rue d'Assas, the museum is the former home of iconic sculptor Ossip Zadkine, who lived there from 1928 to 1967.

Offline: Paris dares to hold its first 100% phone-free day, and museums are playing along!

How about unplugging for real? On June 22, the City of Paris is throwing down the gauntlet: a day without telephones. On the banks of the Quai de Solférino, in the 7th arrondissement, you'll press pause as a group, to rediscover the thrill of talking to each other for real, and rediscover the capital without a screen in your way. To extend the experience, five Paris museums are also getting in on the act, organizing creative and sensory experiences.

From November 15, 2023 to March 21, 2024, the Musée Zadkine is devoting an exhibition to Chana Orloff, an emblematic but unjustly overlooked sculptor, entitled "Sculpter l'Époque". Located a stone's throw from the artist's former studio, this Parisian museum offers an immersion in the work of this strong, free-spirited female figure. More than a hundred of her creations, reflecting her unique vision of femininity and maternity, are on display.

Coronavirus: Museums of the City of Paris shut down until further notice

Because of coronavirus, Paris Musées has announced to shut down museums managed by the city of Paris until further notice, naming the Paris Catacombs, the Musée d’Art Moderne, the Petit Palais, the Musée de la Libération de Paris – Musée du Général Leclerc – Musée Jean Moulin, the Musée Cernuschi, the Musée Bourdelle, the Musée Zadkine, the Musée de la Vie Romantique and the Maison de Balzace. A decision made following the announcement made by the Prime Minister to shut down all premises non vital to the life of the Nation.
