Festival Tout-Petits Cinéma 2024, family concerts during the winter vacations

The Festival Tout-Petits Cinéma returns for a 2024 edition during the two weeks of the February vacations. Enjoy eight ciné-concerts with your family, directly at the Forum des Images, from February 10 to 25, 2024.

The Forum des Images is organizing the 2024 edition of the Tout-Petits Cinéma Festival to accompany children aged 18 months to 4 years in their discovery of cinema on the big screen. Recognized by professionals for the relevance of itscinema initiation work, now is the time to see films adapted to your little ones from February 10 to 25, 2024!

What's on the program? Sessions specially adapted to the attention spans and concentration levels of the youngest viewers, of short duration and most often accompanied by live artists: musicians, puppeteers, storytellers, singers... With a total of eight ciné-concerts planned, at a rate of two sessions per day.

For three Saturdays, Sundays and two Wednesdays in February, you'll find yourself at the Forum des Images, either for the morning session (usually 11am, sometimes 10:30am) or the afternoon session (always at 4pm). The cost is €6 for your child, €8 for you, or €4 if you have a Forum Liberté card.

Saturday, February 10, 2024:

"Graines de géantes" at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
for ages 3 and up

Ciné-concert with live accompaniment by Serena Fisseau and David Gubitsch

It takes courage to venture into the world of giants, wake up the sun, dance in the sand or grow up as sisters and friends. A graceful program for intrepid (little) girls!

On the program:

  • Entre deux sœurs by Anne-Sophie Gousset and Clément Céard (2023),
  • Épreuves du matin by Maša Avramović (2021),

Musicians: Indonesian-born Serena Fisseau explores the infinite possibilities of the voice through personal projects (Bahasabé, Mahna, So Quiet) and shows for young audiences (D'une île à l'autre, Sage comme singe). After Warna, she reunited with David Gubitsch, a specialist in music for images, to set the adventures of heroines to music.

Sunday, February 11, 2024:

"Sur la banquise" at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
ages 2 and up

Ciné-concert with live accompaniment by the Royal Boudoir Orchestra

Things happen on the ice floe! Penguins set off on a mad dash, while an elephant and a rhinoceros have a snowball fight... A light-hearted program with Hawaiian sounds!

Musicians: The Royal Boudoir Orchestra brings together a colorful band of friends involved in animation projects around the ukulele, blending jazz, pop, swing and Hawaiian songs. Philippe Krouk, Jano, Renaud Rudloft, Paolo Conti and Manu together compose the warm, swaying soundtracks for this program.

In their laboratory full of fun instruments and accessories of all kinds, two slightly mad scientists invite you to discover the mysteries of the sky, rain and clouds, alongside resourceful characters!

"Sur l'océan" at 11am and 4pm
for ages 2 and up

Cine-concert with live accompaniment by Science Fiction

What's happening on the surface of the ocean? Curious fish, a blue whale, a little paper boat and a star fisherman explore the mysteries of the ocean in a gentle, enchanting program.

Musicians: Matthieu Souchet (Turfu, Xaman) on percussion and Eli Frot (Tiwayo, Xaman) on synthesizers form the electro duo Science Fiction. Their mission: to explore the frontier of musical infinity. Together they compose rhythms and harmonies from another world to accompany the mysteries of this oceanic program.

"Amis imaginaires" at 11am and 4pm
for ages 2 and up

Ciné-concert with live accompaniment by Joseph d'Anvers

Funny little creatures are the heroes of enchanting stories: some discover the snow, cross the sky carrying stars, others have fun doing pirouettes together. Five magical films to set off and meet these fantastic animals, like so many imaginary friends・es.

Ciné-concert with live accompaniment by SZ

Grandpa's little cat Komaneko has no shortage of ideas or friends to occupy her days. One day, she decides to make her own film. Four emotionally-charged short stories featuring the world of this curious little cat.

On the program:

Musicians: Behind the name SZ are two brothers with a passion for cine-concert creations. They have fun blowing hot and cold amidst percussion, guitars, keyboards, voices and multiple sound objects. SZ delivers original, personal music that blends harmoniously with Tsuneo Goda's refreshingly voluminous universe.

By the light of the moon and the stars, the night becomes the playground of a squirrel perched in a tree, a curious little man and mischievous wolves. Funny adventures in five poetic films with starry eyes guaranteed!

Musicians : Rediscover the first creation of Nicolas Stoica, Jonathan Leurquin and Thomas Rossi (Les Cosmonotes) in 2019. These three multi-instrumentalists with a passion for music on film have composed a musical universe of inventive sounds, all dreamy and gentle, for five films about the moon and stars.

Step by step, discover the world, whether it's meeting a large, capricious rock or dozing off in the mouth of a

mouth of a crocodile! A program where curiosity and empathy win out over preconceptions.

Musician: Classically trained, Lisa Portelli released her first album at the age of 19, and is currently working on her 5th, Absens, due out in September 2024. Her warm voice envelops the adventures of little characters on a quest for discovery!

The cuddly toy becomes a star by animating it for the duration of a short film.
