Did you love it in 2024 and 2025? The Re-animator is making a comeback in spring 2026 with its third edition, scheduled from Thursday, May 7 to Saturday, May 9 in Saint-Nolff. This is the same place where the Motocultor Festival was held before relocating to Carhaix. The event is organized by the Motocultor Fest Prod association, the team behind this Breton festival dedicated to extreme music.
The association has decided " to set up a second festival to be held in Morbihan, a region to which its members are also attached, and which has seen the Motocultor festival grow and develop, where many links have been created with the locals ", it was explained in a press release published in 2023.
It’s easy to imagine that the return of the "Re-animator" Festival, the younger sibling of Motocultor, will bring a big smile to many metalheads. Fans are already eager to see the lineup for this highly anticipated event! So, what can attendees expect for the third edition, set to take place in spring 2026? A lineup packed with a variety of rock and metal acts, including numerous emerging bands, is sure to captivate the audience’s ears and set both stages—built especially for the occasion—ablaze with energy.
Get ready to move to the infectious beats of Madball in the spring of 2026. The iconic New York hardcore band is set to kick off the festival with a high-energy pogo session on May 7th. The "Re-animator" event has also confirmed appearances by German neo-medieval rockers Corvus Corax, Scottish punk band The Exploited, as well as Horskh, Krav Boca, Poesie Zero, and Sun.
