This Saturday, December 16, 2023, the Point Fort in Aubervilliers will be filled with fairy-tale lanterns for the Rebond, the festive event organized by the Aubervilliers-based association Les Poussières. To replace the traditional lantern parade, originally planned for October (and banned, as gatherings were not authorized, by order of the prefecture at the time), the Rebond brings together the handcrafted lanterns that were to have paraded through the streets of Aubervilliers, and offers an original event that's free, convivial and, above all, festive for the occasion.
What's on the program? Get ready to swing to the sound of the brass band, a barrel organ or the turntables of the DJ invited for the event, and enjoy dance performances, beat box demonstrations, an Afro groove concert, rap... From 6 p.m. to midnight, the Point Fort goes into party mode, and the lanterns of the Poussières association dance the night away in a festive gathering.
Le Rebond is a free event, open to all, including children! You'll also be able to enjoy gourmet refreshments on site. If you'd like to make your own lantern before you come, the Poussières association is organizing sessions from 3pm to 7pm on Wednesday December 6, Saturday December 9 and Sunday December 10, if you like!
