The Giant La Défense Christmas Market 2026: dates and stalls to reserve

Le marché de Noël géant de La Défense revient sur le Parvis, dans les Hauts-de-Seine, du 12 novembre au 31 décembre 2026. We already know the dates for this free winter village, but its full program, however, remains to be announced.

The La Défense Giant Christmas Market is returning to the Parvis de La Défense, in the Hauts-de-Seine (92), from November 12 to December 31, 2026, with an extension to January 3, 2027 for its festive zone named The Summit. The dates are now official, but the details of the animations have not yet been announced. In other words: stay tuned.

In the meantime, we’re looking back at what that grand winter village offered last year, as it marked its 30th edition. More than 300 chalets lined the esplanade, mixing crafts, decorations and the scents of mulled wine and hot chocolate. Enough to wander for hours before you even start thinking about gifts.

The ice rink at the heart of the market, the daily presence of the Santa Claus, and around a hundred free activities kept the season lively. Improvised gospel choirs in early December, creative workshops and face painting for kids, and DJ sets with an after-work vibe during the week: everyone found their moment.

The event was also designed to be responsible and community-minded, featuring unheated stalls, reusable cups, and low-energy LED lighting, along with the work of the Green Father Christmases and the neighborhood solidarity restaurant. A plan that’s likely to return this year.

What can we expect at the La Défense Christmas Market in 2026?

For this new edition in 2026, the organizer is keeping the detailed program under wraps. What we do know is that the market will once again occupy the La Défense Esplanade, as easy to reach by public transport as ever: Metro line 1, RER A and E, and the T2 tram, all stopping at La Défense (Grande Arche).
