This Easter weekend 2024, why not take the whole family to the Abbaye de Royaumont? This former Cistercian monastery in Asnières-sur-Oise, Val-d'Oise, is one of the department's not-to-be-missed cultural and historical sites: this year, come and discover it with the kids, from March 31 to April 1, 2024.

On this beautiful Easter weekend, Sunday March 31 and Monday April 1, 2024, what could be better than taking advantage of the three-day weekend to go on an egg hunt with the kids in the Val-d'Oise ? In any case, that's what theAbbaye de Royaumont is offering, with its giant egg hunt, brunch and show!

On Sunday, children aged 5 to 12 can go in search of hundreds of multicolored eggs hidden in Royaumont's gardens, among the gourds and arches! They'll then have to swap them for chocolates, of course, to the delight of gourmands. On Monday, storyteller Anne Leviel tells the story of the gardens in a musical show, accompanied by Benoît Brunhes on guitar and accordion!

And to make the most of these two days,Royaumont Abbey is also offering an Easter brunch on Sunday and Monday. What's on the menu? Chef Patrick Derisbourg offers an all-you-can-eat buffet with a cold buffet (charcuterie platters, marinated salmon, preserved vegetables...), a hot buffet (scrambled eggs, grilled bacon, lamb confit, roasted potatoes) and a dessert buffet (Royaumont chocolate mousse, coffee tiramisu, red fruit panacotta...).

For this festive brunch in an exceptional setting, expect to pay €25 per child under 12 and €69 per adult. Reservations are recommended for both the egg hunt and the Pascal brunch, but the brunch entitles you to free access to the monument, its gardens, the guided tour and the afternoon activity! Take advantage of your visit to Royaumont to tour the gardens, visit the former Cistercian abbey... And discover a major French heritage site in the Val-d'Oise with your children, even the smallest ones!
