The Journées du Patrimoine 2024 (Heritage Days 2024 ) promise to be exceptional once again: all over France, a great celebration is being prepared for Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22, 2024. Thousands of monuments, museums, historic sites and entertainment venues are opening their doors to us.
In Seine-Saint-Denis, the department's businesses, monuments and museums reveal their secrets and their environmentally-friendly architecture!
With 88 historic buildings, some of them listed, the Seine-Saint-Denis département offers a broad panorama ofindustrial architecture. In recent decades, a number of disused buildings have been given a new lease of life. The Journées du Patrimoine are an opportunity to celebrate the renaissance of Seine-Saint-Denis' heritage , with guided tours of carefully preserved sites.
Thanks to the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ), you can discover historical treasures close to home, free of charge. It's an opportunity not to be missed to visit places usually closed to the public, or to learn more about our region and its history. In Île-de-France, over 1,500 heritage sites are taking part in this open weekend. What's more, these sites are often free of charge during the event: now's the time to take advantage!
