Nuit des Musées 2024 at Hangar Y in Meudon (92): the program

The Nuitdes Musées is the cultural event not to be missed in spring. For one evening, museums, castles, monuments and other fascinating sites invite you to enjoy an exceptional nocturne, with a rich program of free visits and events for young and old, including workshops, concerts and screenings. This year, the event returns to Paris and the Île-de-France region for its 20th edition on Saturday, May 18, 2024. For the occasion, the Paris region is unveiling a panorama of good ideas for cultural outings.

This time, we're heading for the Hauts-de-Seine department, in the town of Meudon, to discover what awaits us at Hangar Y. This hybrid lifestyle venue, part gourmet spot, part cultural address, is housed in a former airship hangar, the world's first, built in 1878.

Hangar Y : the huge cultural place in Meudon, our pictures
Described as a cultural venue at the crossroads of art, science, technology and nature, Hangar Y officially opens its doors on Wednesday March 22, 2023, after months of renovation work and more than 40 years of closure. Located in Meudon, in the Hauts-de-Seine region of France, Hangar Y immerses visitors in an incredible experience combining history and modernity, art and nature. [Read more]

Classified as a historic monument in 2000, the site was abandoned for some forty years before being rehabilitated. • Nocturne at the "Rayon jouets" temporary exhibition

  As in the aisles of a department store, toys follow one another but don't look alike!
  
  Rayon Jouets, the third exhibition at Hangar Y and the second proposed by the Art Explora Foundation, is aimed at all audiences. The exhibition brings together some of the oldest toys found anywhere in the world, alongside recent works by contemporary artists on the international scene.
