The National Assembly opens its doors to music lovers on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 for the new Fête de la musique. Join us at 6pm for a free evening of music (registration required) in the sumptuous courtyard of the Hôtel de Lassay, featuring a jazz band, a brass band and a Brazilian batucada group!

Missing her? It's back! The Fête de la musique is set to roll out across Paris and the Île-de-France region on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, for a new 41st edition that's just as much fun as its predecessors!

For over 40 years now, this popular and festive event has been putting a smile on our faces every June 21, the day of the summer solstice, with its countless free concerts, to be enjoyed in the streets of course, but also in parks, squares and gardens, cultural centers and museums, bars, cafés and restaurants, not forgetting institutions such as the French National Assembly!

Located on rue de l'Université, the National Assembly, along with the Senate, forms the famous Parliament of the Fifth Republic, and continues to fascinate the French. In fact, from time to time, this place of power organizes open doors for the general public, to immerse themselves in the history of this mythical place.

On Wednesday June 21, 2023, after a four-year hiatus, the National Assembly will once again be taking part in the Fête de la Musique, hosting a series of free concerts (accessible with registration). " In pursuit of the goal of greater openness at the National Assembly, President Yaël Braun-Pivet has decided to return to the conviviality of the Fête de la musique," explains the institution in a press release issued on June 14.

So, after Clara Luciani, L'Impératrice and Nassim-dj in 2018, who has the honor of bringing the 41st Fête de la musique to the National Assembly in Paris? This year, the National Assembly is betting on eclecticism and a festive program, inviting a jazz band, a brass band and a Brazilian music group batucada to perform outdoors in the courtyard of theHôtel de Lassay on June 21 from 6pm!

Throughout the evening, two foodtrucks will be set up in the courtyard of the Hôtel de Lassay.
