On June 21, get out your instruments and take to the streets for the return of the famous and unmissable Fête de la Musique!
But what exactly is the Fête de la Musique? A free, popular musical event, the Fête de la Musique was created in 1982 on the initiative of the French Ministry of Culture. That year, the Ministry of Culture's studies and research department conducted a major survey of French cultural practices. It revealed that five million people, including one young person in two, play a musical instrument. So Jack Lang, architect and scenographer Christian Dupavillon, a member of his Cabinet, and Maurice Fleuret came up with the idea of a major popular event to enable all musicians to express themselves and make themselves known. The very first Fête de la Musique was launched on June 21 1982, the symbolic day of the summer solstice.
For more than 40 years now, the French have been coming together every June 21 to celebrate this event, in which many different venues take part.
Once again this year, Le Hasard Ludique will be taking part in the Fête de la Musique on Wednesday June 21, 2023. The cultural venue in the capital's 18th arrondissement plans to offer a very festive and free open airevent on this occasion. Yes, this year, Hasard Ludique is pushing the sound out onto the rails of the Petite Ceinture for 100% Connect'HER dj sets not to be missed from 7pm!

Created in 2021, Connect'HER aims to give greater visibility to artists from gender minorities on the French electronic music scene, and to create new synergies with the scene as a whole.
The association is built around several axes: a website referencing artists across France, highlighting news from the scene via social networks, radio shows on Rinse France and training events in music production and DJing.
