Fête de la musique 2023 : Cyril Atef presents "Papatef" at 360 Paris Music Factory

Good news for our music lovers, because the Fête de la Musique is coming back all over France on June 21, 2023!

As a reminder, the Fête de la Musique was created in 1982 at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture. That year, the department of studies and research of the Ministry of Culture conducted a major survey on the cultural practices of the French. It was discovered that five million people, including one young person out of two, play a musical instrument. From then on, Jack Lang, Christian Dupavillon, architect-scenographer, member of his Cabinet and Maurice Fleuret imagined a great popular event with the objective of allowing all musicians to express themselves and to be known. The very first Fête de la Musique was launched on June 21, 1982, the symbolic day of the summer solstice.

Since then, every June 21, musicians - amateurs and professionals - take over the streets, but also many other places such as bars and restaurants, museums and churches, or even parks and gardens, in order to make live music resound during a whole day and evening through free concerts and dj sets.

This year, the 41st Fête de la musique falls on a Wednesday, and once again offers many good musical plans not to be missed in Paris and the Ile-de-France region.

Let's go to the 360 Paris Music Factory. Located in the 18th district of the capital, this place has set itself the mission of preserving cultural diversity, and allowing developing artists to express themselves.

Also, the 360 Paris Music Factory, which regularly hosts concerts, could not miss the new Fête de la musique. Let's meet on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 9pm to (re)discover Cyril Atef!

The artist, known to the general public for his multiple musical adventures with Vincent Segal (Bumcello), but also for his project CongopunQ or his collaborations with -M- and Gotan Project, will present his latest project entitled"Papatef". Note that the event is free. So don't arrive late!
