Fête de la musique 2025 at the Commece stock exchange: a musical encounter with Vincent Bessières

Rock, jazz, hip-hop, classical, blues, reggae, variety, electro, metal and zouk... On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the Fête de la musique is a celebration of all kinds of music. Like every year on the same date, budding musicians will be out in full force, bringing their instruments to life and bringing music to life. For one day, free concerts are held in the streets, of course, but also in parks and gardens, bars and restaurants, churches and museums.

In Paris, several cultural monuments are taking part in the Fête de la musique, including the Musée Guimet, the Musée de la Préfecture de Police and the Musée Jean-Jacques Henner. This year, another legendary Parisian monument is taking part in the event. On Saturday June 21, 2025, the Bourse de Commerce will be celebrating music in style.

Located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, the Bourse de Commerce - Pinault Collection showcases a collection of contemporary works assembled by renowned patron and collector François Pinault. This sublime building houses a rich collection dedicated to art from the 1960s to the present day, with over 10,000 works by nearly 350 artists in a wide variety of styles, from painting to sculpture to photography...

On June 21, 2025, to celebrate the Fête de la Musique and echo the " Corps et âmes " exhibition, the Bourse de Commerce invites Vincent Bessières, independent curator and artistic director of the Jazzdor festival. Vincent Bessières, who has also written a playlist to accompany the exhibition, will discuss the place of music in the imaginations of African-American artists in a unique musical encounter.
