Fête de la Musique 2024: Véronique Sanson in free concert at Noisy-le-Grand (93)

Good news for all Fête de la Musique fans! The legendary, popular and festive event is back on June 21, once again with a host of free concerts!

The Fête de la Musique was created in 1982 on the initiative of the French Ministry of Culture. That year, the Ministry of Culture's studies and research department conducted a major survey of French cultural practices. It revealed that five million people, including one young person in two, play a musical instrument. So Jack Lang, architect and scenographer Christian Dupavillon, a member of his Cabinet, and Maurice Fleuret came up with the idea of a major popular event to enable all musicians to express themselves and make themselves known. The very first Fête de la Musique was launched on June 21, 1982, the symbolic day of the summer solstice.

This year, the Fête de la Musique is back all over France on Friday June 21, 2024 , with a rich and eclectic program. In Paris and elsewhere in the Île-de-France region, the concerts are sure to be numerous, as in Noisy-le-Grand. This Seine-Saint-Denis commune is once again taking part in the Fête de la musique.

So, after welcoming Patricia Kaas, Cali, Nolwenn Leroy, Bénabar, Ben L'Oncle Soul, ZAZ, Kassav', Salif Keita, Chico & The Gypsies, Julien Clerc, the Compagnie Créole and not forgetting The Rabeats, who has the honor of bringing the Fête de la musique to Noisy-le-Grand? Well, Véronique Sanson will be in the spotlight this year with an exceptional free concert. Don't miss it on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 10pm, on the square in front of the Hôtel de Ville, Place de la Libération.

Véronique Sanson will be lighting up the Fête de la Musique in Noisy-le-Grand with an exceptional free concert on Friday June 21, 2024, starting at 10pm, on the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville. The opening act will be the winner of the Scène tremplin, who will have the chance to perform on stage. Admission is free.
