Nuit Blanche 2024: a free jazz evening at the Hôtel de la Marine

It's the craziest night of the year, the evening that transforms Paris into an open-air museum: it's the Nuit Blanche that 's back this Saturday, June 1, 2024! This 23rd edition of the event is as crazy and unusual as ever, even after all these years. Are you ready for it?

La Nuit Blanche is a Parisian cultural event organized every year since 2002. Over the course of an evening, from 6 p.m. until the early hours of the morning, exhibitions, concerts, shows, happenings, installations and zany events unfold throughout the capital and surrounding towns. Nuit Blanche showcases French and internationalcontemporary art, often free of charge, in museums, monuments, parks and squares around the city.

TheHôtel de la Marine is also taking part in this great contemporary celebration. The monument on the Place de la Concorde awaits us and invites us to take part in the entertainment planned especially for the occasion. Here's the program for the evening.

• Nuit Blanche
  Under the diamond-shaped glass roof of the Hôtel de la Marine, we invite you to an evening of jazz on period instruments, specially conceived by cellist Atsuski Sakaï. Join seven musicians for an acoustic experience in an eclectic register of music ranging from John Dowland to Björk and traditional music.
  Born in Nagoya in 1975, Atsushi Sakaï is a renowned cellist who has won several awards and been invited to numerous festivals in France and abroad. Atsushi is an active jazz improviser.
