Nuit Blanche has been delighting Parisians and visitors alike since 2002! This major celebration of contemporary art transforms Paris and the surrounding cities into open-air museums. And for those of you who can't wait to discover this year's new installations, get out your diary and take note: Nuit Blanche invites you to join us on Saturday, June 7, 2025 for a night of art.
Never heard of Nuit Blanche? This exceptional cultural event gives pride of place to contemporary art in all its forms. For a whole night, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., hundreds of venues invite us to discover and enjoy concerts, shows, performances, exhibitions and events of all kinds, imagined by French and international artists.
The program changes every year. To orchestrate such a rendezvous, the City of Paris calls on artistic directors, who choose the theme of the edition, and help set up several artistic animations.
In 2024, curator, critic and art historian Claire Tancons was chosen to lead the Nuit Blanche. The theme was the French overseas territories, and was of course linked to the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games. To highlight this theme, several events were organized by the artistic director. This year, it's a surprise for the moment, but no doubt the theme will be unveiled soon (and we'll be on hand to let you know in advance!).
