If we should remember just one thing about these Paris 2024 Games, it's certainly the impact that the new sports structures will have in Seine-Saint-Denis. Located on the outskirts of the capital, the département will play host to a host of sporting events, most of them in brand-new Olympic facilities.

If you live in or visit Saint-Denis on a regular basis, you may have noticed the many construction projects that now punctuate the landscape of certain neighborhoods. And with good reason: the city isone of the major venues for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The department of Seine-Saint-Denis has therefore pulled out all the stops to ensure that not only are top-flight sports facilities in place - some of which will be used for the first time during the Games - but they will also be of benefit to local residents. But that's not all: Seine-Saint-Denis is a little-known department, with a wealth of cultural, natural and gastronomic treasures, where visitors to the Games will be well advised to make a stop.

Arena Paris Nord

After the Games, the Parc des Expositions will return to its main function of hosting trade fairs and other events, such as the Manga Sci-Fi Show. To get there, take the RER B (get off at Parc des Expositions).
