The city of Paris is in the starting blocks for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games! Excitement is building, just a few months ahead of this eagerly-awaited event, which is expected to draw millions of people from around the world and to the capital. While we wait for the competition to get underway, we're taking advantage of the cultural, artistic and sporting activities and events organized by the city and region around the Games, to give ourselves a foretaste!
For several months now, cultural institutions have been buzzing with interest, with an explosion in the number of exhibitions, festivals and other sharing events based around sport. Breaking, judo, climbing, fencing - these are just some of the exciting disciplines to be discovered in a fun way, with friends or family, over the coming weeks, before seeing them live in the capital or on television, to support our French athletes!
The majority of these events are part of theCultural Olympiad, which has been presenting a multi-disciplinary artistic and cultural program for several months, combining art, culture and sport.
