Synopsis: Chris Smith aka Peacemaker continues his mission to impose peace by any means necessary, while facing the demons of his past and a new series of threats.
Season 2 of Peacemaker picks up after the events of The Suicide Squad movie, continuing Chris Smith's story arc. The character must face up to his contradictions, between violence and the quest for redemption, in a world where the line between hero and villain remains blurred.
In addition to John Cena, regulars Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee and Robert Patrick return. Season 2 welcomes new faces: Frank Grillo, David Denman, Sol Rodriguez and Tim Meadows.
Peacemaker is aimed at fans of offbeat superhero stories in the style of The Boys or Deadpool. With its satirical tone, explosive action sequences and provocative dialogue, the series retains the James Gunn narrative touch already seen in Guardians of the Galaxy.
