Fortnite hits hard with its new season entitled Unbridled, available until August 16, 2024. In this Chapter 5 - Season 3 update, the island undergoes the onslaught of a sandstorm, transforming its landscape and offering players total immersion in a new desert ecosystem. Get ready to face the Wasteland Gang and explore new areas where every grain of sand can hide a danger or an opportunity.
The storm has given way to a vast, unforgiving desert, now under the control of the Wasteland Gang, a group of marauders expert in scrap metal recovery. Their territory, made up of strategic zones such as the Redline Rig, the Nitrodrome and the Brutal Beachhead, is defended by fearsome characters such as the Machinist, Scarr Queen of the Ring and Megalo Don. These new zones are packed with challenges and valuable resources, including nitro, a substance that offers spectacular advantages to vehicles and players alike.
In addition to these new zones, Débridé introduces an arsenal of innovative weapons and features. Nitro gauntlets, for example, enable powerful hand-to-hand attacks, while various vehicle modifications offer new combat strategies. Players can equip their vehicles with machine-gun turrets, spike bumpers and bulletproof tires, transforming each vehicle into a veritable war machine. Service stations, meanwhile, not only enable vehicles to be refueled, but also repaired and reinforced.
Last but not least, the Unbridled Fighting Pass offers tantalizing rewards, including exclusive outfits inspired by members of the Wasteland Gang. Also of note, as a "mystery skin", is the presence of the X-Men antagonist Magneto's skin, marking a new collaboration with Marvel. As players progress through the Pass, they can unlock unique skins such as the Machinist, Mâchefer and Scarr Queen of the Ring, as well as other cosmetic rewards. This season promises to push the boundaries of gameplay with challenges and surprises at every turn of the dune.
