Spartan Hurricane Heat 2023, the adventure race on the Ile de Loisirs de Jablines

This adventure challenge, which is run in teams, is available in two formats: 4 or 12 hours. During the day for the first, and at night for the other. In all cases, the objective does not change: everything is good not to give up! The shortest race will take place on Saturday, from 10 am to 2 pm, while the intensive race for the most determined starts on Friday evening at 8 pm and ends on Saturday at 8 am.

This 25 obstacle race is suitable for all types of participants, whether they have a performance goal or just want to have a good time with friends. There are several categories open to you for the Super: the Elite category for athletes looking for performance, the age group category to compete in the rules, and the Open category which is open to everyone.

To participate, you will need equipment worthy of the greatest adventurer:

• 1 sturdy backpack to carry all your gear and water
• 1 headlamp with red light option and spare batteries
• 1 emergency whistle
• 1 knife or multi-tool
• 1 black outfit without brand or logo
• 1 black permanent marker
• 1 hydration bag (2L)
• 1 roll of gaffer tape
• 15m of paracord
• 1 pair of work gloves
• 1 survival blanket
• 1 pair of shoes for an effort of 4 to 12 hours in difficult conditions with ankle support
• Water, gels and nutrition bars for the duration of the event
• 2 chemlights attached to the backpack (red)

Even though this is a very fun race, remember that training is mandatory. Each missed event will result in penalties, so if you don't want to do hundreds of jumped-up push-ups, you'll need to be on top of your game on the big day!
