On November 11, 2023, World War IArmistice Day, an exceptional rugby match is set to take place at the Jean Bouin stadium. To mark the centenary of the Flame of the Unknown Soldier, the French Army and Navy will face off on the field, in support of the wounded defending France at home and abroad. This annual challenge, the Challenge Foch Ronarc'h , is both a great moment of sport and commemoration, accessible to all for five euros.
At the Stade Français, the two army rugby clubs meet again, after having played together to become world military champions, a feat they brilliantly achieved in September! All proceeds from the match will be donated to associations that care for the wounded and their families. Join us at the Jean Bouin stadium for an unusual commemoration, a change from the ordinary, at 1pm for the women's match and 3pm for the men's match, just a few weeks after the end of the Rugby World Cup 2023.
