It's not a typo, it's not soccer, it's floorball, a distant cousin of ice hockey. To help a charity, the Brunoy club in the Essonne region is organizing a charity tournament on February 17 and 18, 2024, to which you are invited free of charge!

Ever heard of floorball? This unusual sport is a lacrosse team sport, a cousin of ice hockey, played indoors without skates. On February 17 and 18, 2024, the floorball club"Les Lions de Brunoy" is organizing a charity tournament at the gymnasium Gounot, in Essonne, in partnership with the association"À chacun son Everest", which supports children with cancer or leukemia, and women in remission from breast cancer.

During this open-access event, teams from Brunoy and Paris will compete in an interclub tournament, for a registration fee of 5 euros per team, which will be donated to the association. In the morning, a family tournament open to all is organized to discover this sport and compete in a fun way for a good cause. Please register before February 10 at massetnoemie91@gmail.com. It's also an opportunity to meet the association and take part in a number of activities, including a tombola and a penalty contest.

This first edition of theEverest Cup aims to raise public awareness of floor field hockey, a little-known sport in France, created in 1986. Today, the French Floorball Federation has almost 2,500 members in over 50 clubs.
