For an action that's both ecological and sporting, meet up on April 6, 2024 in the Square d'Anvers for a major challenge: beat the world record for collecting cigarette butts!

The Mégocup Sport Planète is a competition with a difference! This time, there's no stopwatch: you'll have to collect as many cigarette butts as possible in a given time, i.e. two hours, across the capital. On April 6, 2024, 17 French cities will be mobilizing simultaneously to beat the world record of 1.04 million cigarettes collected and then recycled, an action that's both sporting and ecological!

Find the cigarettes left on the ground and help clean up the streets of Paris! Every discarded cigarette butt is a threat to the environment, and can contaminate up to 500 liters of water. It's also an opportunity to mobilize young people around the environment, as the event is launched by Hexacup, an application that enables thousands of young people to play sport for free, if they do something environmentally friendly!

Anyonecan take part- you just need to be motivated and register! In Paris, the start will be at 10 a.m., from the Square d'Anvers in the 9th arrondissement, so get ready! In each city, several associations will be on hand to guide participants and raise awareness of environmental preservation, and a few surprises are planned in conjunction with local sports clubs.
