Motocultor Festival 2026: Judas Priest, Amenra, Eihwar... the rest of the lineup

Considered by many to be Hellfest's little brother, Motocultor Festival Open Air was first held in Brittany in 2007. Since then, the metal festival has come a long way. Based in Saint-Nolff, not far from Vannes in Brittany, the Motocultor Festival has featured a host of national and international artists since its inception, including Buzzcocks, Behemoth, Exodus, Eluveitie, Trivium, Sick of it all, Ultra Vomit, Opeth, Ministry and Soulfly.

After two cancelled editions in 2020 and 2021 due to the health crisis, the Motocultor Festival made its comeback in 2022 for 4 days, still in Saint-Nolff. A historic site that the festival has decided to leave behind. In the summer of 2023, the Motocultor Festival moved to a new playground in Carhaix ( where the Vieilles Charrues festival already takes place). The aim? To offer festival-goers a great line-up over four days.

In 2026, for its new and 17th edition, the Motocultor Festival returns to Carhaix with four new days dedicated to extreme music on Thursday 13th, Friday 14th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August 2026.

What about thelineup? The festival has unveiled the first names for the 2026 edition. Get ready to see the British band Judas Priest, Australia'sAirbourne, America's Godsmack, Death Angel andDeafheaven, as well as Canada's Kittie, Sweden's Soen, Norway's Witch Club Satan, Finland'sSteve 'n' Seagulls anddeathcore band Slaughter to Prevail.

Also announced are Within Temptation, Amenra,Ashen, Kim Dracula, Oomph!, Lord of the Lost, Fit For An Autopsy, Battlesnake,Voivod, Alcest, Mass Hysteria, and Eihwar... Stay tuned for more details on the 2026 Motocultor lineup! For those who can't wait, 4-day and 1-day passes are already on sale.
