Théâtre de Passy hosts an adaptation of Patrice Leconte's cult film Les Grands Ducs. With its chiselled dialogues, comical situations and homage to the world of theater, this stage version promises a delicious blend of humor, nostalgia and emotion.

With Les Grands Ducs, Patrice Leconte 's world of cinema takes on a new dimension on stage, at the Théâtre de Passy until April 27, 2025. The story focuses on three actors from the old school, confronted with the difficulties of a chaotic end to their careers, between precarious tours and nostalgia for a bygone golden age.

In this adaptation of Patrice Leconte 's cult film Les Grands Ducs at the Théâtre de Passy, Georges Cox, Victor Vialat and Eddie Carpentier are three actors at the end of their tether. One takes on a succession of small roles to survive, the second struggles to come to terms with his retirement, while the last has a reputation that keeps him out of work. Despite everything, they manage to get into the cast of Scoubidou, a lackluster boulevard play starring Carla Milo, a whimsical diva with an explosive temperament.

But their debt-ridden producer, Chapiron fils, does everything in his power to derail the tour and recover the insurance money. But Les Grands Ducs' three actors, determined not to let what could be their last opportunity slip away, cling to their roles with panache and refuse to give up. A theatrical adaptation of Patrice Leconte 's film that promises to be colorful in the splendid Théâtre de Passy.

The Théâtre de Passy is renowned for its commitment to comedy , and lends itself perfectly to this adaptation of Les Grands Ducs, starring Georges Beller, Jean-Pierre Castaldi and Jean-Christophe Barc. If you enjoyed Patrice Leconte's film, this theatrical adaptation is sure to please!
