Photo Days 2023: dates and theme of the new edition of the contemporary photo festival in Paris

Photo Days is the artsy event not to be missed this autumn and winter in Paris. We look forward to seeing you from November 3 to December 3, 2023, to discover the various exhibitions and events organized in Parisian institutions and galleries.

We're delighted to be back again this year for Photo Days, the unmissable event that will set the pace for the end of the year in Paris. From November 3 to December 3, 2023, discover the various events organized in the capital and admire as manyworks by international artists. What a program!

For this new edition,Photo Days continues to reinvent itself. This year, you'll enjoy several exhibitions, meetings, guided tours and numerous events organized in the various venues participating in the festival. Historical photography, young French and international creations, feminist engagement, documentary photography, fashion, travel, nude or landscape, absurd or real: the works to be discovered have no limits, no rules, other than to please you, fill you with wonder, question you and make you react.

As always, Photo Days and Paris je t'aime - Office de tourisme will be awarding the Grand Prix de photographie to the artists and professional photographers who have entered this year's competition. In 2023, the theme of the Grand Prix is"Paris, Jeux". The prize is a handsome 15,000 euros, and an exhibition in Paris in 2024 for the winner!

Portfolio readings

    Fondazione Sozzani
    As every year, Photo Days organizes several days of portfolio readings for emerging and established photographers. These readings are a platform for photographers to present their work to an audience of experts and industry professionals. During these meetings, photographers will have the opportunity to share their work, discuss their artistic approach and receive constructive feedback from critics and the attending public.

  • Artists at Leica
    Every Tuesday from November 3 to December 3, 2023
    Leica Store Village Royal
    One evening a week, the Leica gallery opens its doors to invite you to meet 4 or 5 artists in a small group. Every Wednesday, in a private and relaxed setting, you'll have the opportunity to discover unique perspectives and experience special moments with passionate artists.

    From November 3 to December 3, 2023 throughout Paris and the Île-de-France region
    Several times a week, we offer guided tours of galleries, by district and by theme, and special tours of institutions.

  • Symposium - Photography and Artificial Intelligence

    In partnership with Beaux-Arts Magazine and Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, Photo Days organizes a day of conferences and round tables, bringing together experts, researchers and artists to explore the many facets of the interaction between photography and artificial intelligence.
