La Monnaie de Paris is taking part in this 18th edition of the Journées Européennes des Métiers d'Art: from April 2 to 7, 2024, take part in free workshops for the whole family.

" Art professions are manual crafts. They mobilize traditional, highly technical and often exceptional skills ": this definition from the French Ministry of Culture is bound to make art and culture lovers dream.

It is to highlight these skills and the creations of France's great masters that the Institut national des métiers d'art has been organizing the JEMA ( Journées européennes des métiers d'art) since 2002. In the spring, numerous establishments open their doors to the curious to let us discover their passion, their work and their creations.

In Paris, many sites take part in this free event for the general public: museums, institutes, châteaux, workshops, theaters... It's a chance to go behind the scenes and meet the people who keep French culture and know-how alive!

From April 2 to 7, 2024, La Monnaie de Paris will be hosting the 18th edition of JEMA. The historic institution invites us to discover its collections and intangible heritage, through various tours and events open to young and old alike. Don't hesitate: it's free!
