A weekend of festivities at Jardin21, to mark the reopening of this 19th arrondissement party spot

Spring is finally here, and with it, the reopening of many third places in Paris and the Paris region, including Jardin21, the wasteland on the banks of the Canal de l'Ourcq, not far from the Grands Moulins de Pantin and the Parc de la Villette. So, to celebrate the end of Jardin21's hibernation, the site is organizing a weekend of festivities, from Friday April 5 to Sunday April 7, 2024.

On the program? Three days of festivities with a multi-disciplinary program, with something for everyone: from families with children to lovers of parties that end in the wee hours of the morning! So, for this very festive reopening, DJ sets are scheduled every evening, as well as creative workshops, gardening workshops, and a pop-up store in partnership with the Lucette diesel thrift shop on Saturday. Sunday is all about farniente! The program is more relaxed, with a large barbecue (vegan or meat), gardening sessions and stand-up comedy to round off the day.

There's also a bar for refreshments throughout the day, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a canteen where you can grab a bite to eat with burgers, kebabs, home-cooked meals... So, see you April 5-7, 2024 at Jardin21?

The program for Jardin21's 2024 reopening:

Friday, April 5 (12 noon to 4 a.m.)

• Inauguration of the Cantine du Jardin
• La Miaou Records evening, DJ sets with Hugo Samba, Etienne Bourdon and Rom1

Saturday April 6 (12pm to 4am)

• Pop-up with Lucette Diesel, a traveling thrift shop (12pm to 10:30pm)
• La Furieuse Company stand (6pm to 10:30pm), customize your clothes with stencils and slogans.
• Gardening workshop "Creating a recycled planter" and "Preparing seedlings", from 12pm to 1pm, for adults, free with registration.
• Creative workshop Vegetable stamps, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm, for the general public, free with registration
• Apéro Notturno, DJ sets with Bérou, Kubebe, Ludviq, Mégaparté, Zaratustra from 9pm to 4am

Sunday, April 7 (12pm to 10pm)

• Sunday barbecue at Jardin21 (12-10pm), with vegan and meat options
• Pop-up with traveling thrift store Lucette Diesel (12pm to 7pm)
• Fabrique des médailles en argile végétalisés" creative workshop, from 12pm to 1pm, for adults, free with registration
• Gardening workshop "Preparing spring seedlings", 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm, general public, free with registration
• Greenwashing Comedy Club, 5pm to 6:30pm, free admission with donation
