Did you know, dear Parisians, that stopping off on the Seine in Paris wasn't just an activity reserved for tourists from outside the city? No ? Well, the Vog' en Seine event reminded us that entertainment in Paris doesn't stop at the mainland, and extends right down to the river. Why not try a brunch on a boat at Paris en scène?

If, like me, you're one of those Parisians who don't know that there's an 8-station batobus on the Seine, it's probably because you don't often take a trip to one of Paris's boat companies.

Fortunately, Vog' en seine is there to refresh our memories and remind us that there are simple and inexpensive river activities in Paris. But what can a boat cruise on the river offer you?

What if, for a start, you didn't just take a tour of Paris, but actually sat back in an armchair, nonchalantly brunching and admiring Paris's finest architecture? This is what"Paris en scène", the boat we tested during the event, offers you. For the 1st time, the boat was offering an original brunch cruise with a breathtaking view of Paris.

What a relaxing experience to enjoy brunch seated on comfortable armchairs while admiring Paris through a huge bay window. At around 12.30 pm, the captain and his crew welcome you aboard, ready to escort you to your armchairs, where a few macaroons are waiting to get your cruise off to a good start.

At 1 p.m. the festivities begin, and the boat sets off for a 1h30 voyage. The first mignardises arrive, along with an accordionist who will be delighted to remind you of the greatest classics of Parisian musical culture.

Relaxing is the word that would describe this cruise, because as soon as you set foot on dry land, you're back to the usual Parisian hustle and bustle, making you want to turn around and head back to the calm of the boat.

In short, Vog' en Seine helped us rediscover a part of Paris that deserves to be highlighted. If you weren't able to take part in the Vog' en Seine event, you can still find all the boats that opened for the operation, as they remain in operation!
