All you have to do is to push open the doors of L’Atelier Saisonnier to leave the hustle and bustle of rue La Fayette. Inside, we feel far from cars and Paris noise that are just a few steps away from us. With its wooden furniture, its turquoise paint, its trinkets and its deco bottles, we almost feel like a holiday home by the sea!
But let’s move on beyond the appearance… Joffrey presents us his menu: simple but effective, changing on a regular basis. On the small blackboard, we’re offered a wine selection (3 reds and 3 whites) from €18 to €28 as well as three craft beers. Two are brewed in Essonne and they all cost €7 for a pint and €4 for a half. In terms of snacks, we’ve got the choice between three classic boards: mixed, cold meats or cheese. We give a go the mixed board for €18 and we’re delighted. Full of quality products and served with a nice basket of fresh baguette, we don’t need more to be happy. We love the cheese selection, a big classic and small original ones (can you guess what hides in this orange-y colored cheese?) and the flavor of cold meats taking over the main part of this board.
But what we mostly love at L’Atelier Saisonnier is Joffrey’s flawless welcome. The establishment founder talks here and there with his guests while taking good care of everyone. In full heart of Paris, come and escape in this warm cocoon for a lovely evening.
