Have you heard about La Meringaie? Settled in Paris 17th, 6th and 9th arrondissements, this store invites you to enjoy good food with desserts inspired by the famous Australian pastry, the Pavlova: a meringue crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, flavored whipped cream and fresh and seasonal fruits.
For Epiphany 2021, La Meringaie creates a surprise by creating an Epiphany Cake based on meringue. This meringue has swiped the traditional puff pastry for a soft meringue. The heart is made of whipped almond cream, pears and raspberries.
As you can imagine it, this cake is a super light and naturally gluten-free cake! And it doesn’t mean it has no character! It is actually named Aliénor, after a famous Queen who was resilient and had a strong character!
As for the classic French Epiphany cake, La Meringaie cake hides a charm and also supplies the famous crown. You can find it in stores in a size serving 6 to 8 and for €35.
So, who will take the meringue cake?
