There are countless K-Pop fans in Paris. And yet, spots dedicated to their passion are lacking. But this is no longer the case as Kick Café opens, a never-before-seen place created so K-Pop fans can meet and enjoy a place designed for them. Here, choose the band or the song you want to listen to when you arrive. BTS, Blackpink, Seventeen, Got7, as well as Monsta X… you only have to ask! Designed as a true lively place, this great venue meets Korean band fans’ expectations, as well as foodies’ as they are always looking for new discoveries.
To understand what this place is about, let us start with the name. Kick stands for K-pop Is For Cool Kids. You get it, this place has been first and foremost designed for K-pop buffs providing events mixing karaoke, K-drama screening sessions, as well as conferences.
Kick Café also lives to the pace of discovery workshops to get to know the Korean culture even more including Korean classes and cooking classes. You can also enjoy Korean treats, drinks, and goodies.
But Kick Café is also a quirky coffee shop. Discover super tasty and never-before-seen drinks inspired by K-Pop bands. Matcha fans will be pleased with the delicious matcha latte, but you can also have the I Purple You, some latte based on taro. Other more astounding creations await including Neo Ade based on aloe Vera, cucumber, lime, and lemonade, as well as Moonlatte Night based on espresso, charcoal, vanilla syrup and milk.
To pair them all, homemade vegan cookies (matcha/white chocolate or chocolate chips) are also provided, so are shortbreads and cakes – homemade as well – such as yuzu/poppy seed or black sesame, to make you feel like in South Korea.
Behind this unique concept in Paris stands Savannah, a K-Pop fan (like all employees working at Kick Café), who wanted to create a convivial and warm place designed by and for all K-Pop fans. Because K-Pop is far more than a musical genre, it is a genuine philosophy that unites and gathers a whole community across the whole world. A community that can now meet at Kick Café to chat, talk and share their passion about K-Pop, as well as listen their favorite bands without judgment.
