The Museum of Montmartre is home to a superb bucolic and green garden. The Café-terrasse Renoir, formerly reserved for the visitors of the Museum, is now open to all for the summer period for the modest sum of 5€ the entrance (café and garden) or 10€ for the year with the subscription (of course, the good plan is the year to go back there all summer). To discover every day from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm (extended to 6 pm in July).
If you hang around the Sacré Coeur, don't miss to come and rest in the garden of the Museum of Montmartre, on its charming terrace. In the calm, sheltered from the pedestrian traffic and the Parisian tumult, you can enjoy a thirst-quenching and greedy parenthesis.
Note that you can walk there and discover at the back of the garden, a magnificent view of the hillock, overlooking the Clos Montmartre vineyard.
The Café Renoir offers us a nice return in time. It is inspired by the work of Renoir. Indeed, for the story, the café takes the famous glass roof from which Auguste Renoir was inspired to paint the Ball of the Moulin de la Galette, in 1876.
The Café offers a menu of snacks, in the spirit of a tea room, with a selection of gourmet products, provided by renowned companies. On the menu, a savory and sweet offer to enhance your visits to the museum and enjoy the gardens peacefully!
And while you're there, why not take advantage of it to discover the current exhibitions (air-conditioned).
In short, this is a great plan for a charming and greedy break that ends, why not, with a bucolic stroll to the Sacré Coeur, like us.
