Philippe Conticini definitely is the ambassador of good food in Paris. In his stores, sweet-toothed customers rush to enjoy his irresistible creations called “gâteaux d’émotions” or emotion-inducing cakes. And yet, far from resting on his laurels, the pastry chef keeps on renewing himself!! This past March, the emotion master opened his chouquette bar that met an incredible success.
This winter, Philippe Conticini does it again with another star pastry. Now a mille-feuille bar is coming to the store set in the 3rd arrondissement, a stone’s throw from République. The idea? Two Saturdays a month, you can go and order a mille-feuille that will be made before your eyes, to order. And this is not all: you can even customize your order! Starting from Saturday October 16, 2021, then every second and fourth Saturdays of the month (which is about every two weeks).
But why is this mille-feuille this special? In addition to being prepared to order and therefore incredibly fresh, this is based on a French recipe created by Philippe Conticini with inverted puff pastry and Madagascan Bourbon vanilla diplomat cream. As said earlier, you can custom it with toppings of your choice such as salted butter caramel, exotic caramel (passion, mango, pineapple) and homemade 69% praline. In all, 150 grams of indulging food and emotions only wait to be enjoyed.
