Napoléon III’s former house, Le Chalet du Lac offers a 1,500-sqm indoor area and as much outdoor, devoted to food and entertainment: family brunch with host and games for children, dancing tea parties, Swing, Jazz or Clubbing nights and many more.
We tried the brunch, and this is what we’re going to talk about right now. First, we were lucky, when we came in March, it was super sunny, and we could enjoy the terrace with a view on the lake. For the sunny yet colder days, there’s the huge and very lovely conservatory.
Speaking of the menu, we enjoy a French-Italian menu in buffet version with antipasti & burratina, charcuterie, viennoiseries, an assortment of salads, and many more:
A French-Italian menu in buffet version
Orange juice, pomelo juice
Coffee, hot chocolate, tea
Mini-viennoiseries, fruits, scrambled eggs
Tomato, mozzarella di Buffala, Crunchy runner beans and Parmesan shavings
Salmon tataki with sesame seeds
Salmon and pastrami bagel
Quiches & Salads
Assortments of cheeses and cold cuts
Crepes entertainment: savory and sweet
Cheesecake, Pie, Fruit salad
Chocolate mousse verrine & tiramisu…
A menu elaborated with seasonal products, can change according to the chef’s inspiration.
At the end of the meal, children join the hostess who offers them games galore: makeup, tattoos, angling, soccer balls and inflatable toys, board games without forgetting the candy bar.
For the older, go to the relaxation room after the buffet with a few cozy chairs as well as a public ping pong table and a foosball table.
In short, a very tasty and complete brunch in a bucolic environment where we can take the time to relax while kids have fun!
