The River Café is offering the curious and other gourmands its Apéros Parisiens on its barge in Issy-les-Moulineaux from September 1 to 30, 2018. Breads and viennoiseries from Benoit Castel, beers and wines conceived just a stone's throw away... Come and discover local artisans and their tasty preparations.

Already feeling the vacation blues? Want to extend summer a little longer? River Café has a ready-made solution, offering Apéros Parisiens from September1 to 30, 2018, bringing together the best of 100% made in Paris. The best way to make the transition between summer vacations and getting back to work...

Aperos where gourmands will be able to sample lots of little things and indulge in Benoit Castel's "Croissant Parisien", married to a thin slice of Parisian white ham by Gilles Vérot. We continue this sweet tasting with mozzarella from Nanina, made in the 11th arrondissement with buffalo milk from Auvergne, or pickled mushrooms from Francis Tremblay.

Bread lovers won't be outdone, either, with the now legendary "Pain du Coin" and "Beurre qui pleure" from Benoit Castel. On the drinks front, wine lovers will be able to discover the various cuvées from Winerie Parisienne, including the sparkling Blanc des Blancs "Don Paris", as well as the craft beers from Paname Brewing Company, located in the capital's former Magasins Généraux. We're also tempted by the establishment's signature cocktail, the River Side, made with gin from Baccae.

It's the perfect way to extend your vacation in the Parisian sunshine (which is still coming through from time to time). And, of course, we remind you that alcohol abuse is dangerous to your health, and should be consumed in moderation... Shall we go, friends?

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
