Italian cuisine and sun lovers are all expected at Norma, a restaurant serving Sicilian specialties a stone’s throw from the Place de la République from June 15, 2020 for its full reopening. The occasion to travel to south Italy for lunch or dinner.

Sicily set a stone’s throw from the Place de la République… This is what Norma, an exotic and friendly restaurant, serves, inviting gourmets and foodies to discover a whole selection of Italian specialties, but most of all, delicious and delicate dishes. A menu that is filled with sun and promising a very exotic travel to the lands of the arancini and other cannoli. And good news: in addition to its two terraces open since June 2, 2020, the restaurant fully reopens on June 15, following Emmanuel Macron's statements as of Ile-de-France moving into green area in his address the night before.

A very mouthwatering menu changing with the season and that offers a whole bunch of specialties twisted the Norma way. Buratina, caponata, veal carpaccio, busiate, half-moon and other pasta all’italiana come and tickle foodies’ taste buds looking to visit Palermo or Catane. As for the decoration and the atmosphere, it’s all-things Italy: lemon tree, authentic tiles, warm and summer colors… Sicily within reach.

A restaurant the editorial board have tried and let’s put it straight: we love it! As a starter, we had an organic egg Milanese style (like a Scotch egg), parmesan cream and truffle shavings, a very delicate and super flavorful dish. Flavors explode in the mouth and the plate has a very surprising simplicity. Moving on to main course, we went for the delicious Pachieri “alla Norma”, pasta with organic Sicilian tomato sauce, fried eggplants and salted and aged ricotta, and for dessert, we enjoyed deconstructed cannoli
Such a delight!

In other words, this is the occasion to discover a very sunny gastronomy… Shall we go there, friends?
