The Urban Films Festival is coming to Paris Forum des Halles from October 7 to 11, 2020. On the menu of this 15th edition: screenings, dance, music, meetings, debates, exchanges, exhibitions, workshops and performances!
Urban Films Festival is the first film festival devoted to the city, and all-things urban. This year, for the 15th edition, the festival comes to the Forum des Halles from October 7 to 11, 2020, as well as other places around Paris. Keep reading to learn more.
First of all, Urban Films Festival is a film festival playing short-movies directed by cinephiles from all over the world. The eight jury members have selected 40 of them belonging to different genres (documentary, fiction, animation, performance). To see them, book a ticket on the festival's website. Sessions last 1h30 and you can enjoy 5 movies for €7.
And the program has a few surprises in store such as a rollerblading performance, street-art and even a dance battled.
- Wednesday October 7
8 p.m.: Street Art Graffiti mural at the Mur du Marais
Creation of the mural, video screening and rollerblading performance
- Thursday October 8
8 p.m.: Screening and Dance at the Palais de la Porte Dorée Arte Web Series "Tu Préfères" and Dance Battle Finale
- Friday October 9
7:30 p.m. Premiere at La Place - Centre culturel Hip Hop
Screening Arte Web-series "BBoy Afrique" and "La Haine" dance Zoo Sequence
- Saturday October 10: Inner City - Street comics focus (location and hour to be confirmed)
Signing session and debate with Fred Beltran, Interviews 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
