Wine and independent wine-growers fair 2019 at Paris Espace Champerret

The Wine and independent wine-growers fair isn’t your usual fair. Come and discover the most beautiful wine cellars of France and meet wine-growers themselves, each of them will tell their stories, talk about their wines, their jobs. For this new edition, 1,000 wine-growers from all over France expect you from March 22 to 25, 2019 at Paris Espace Champerret.

On the menu, 4 days of tastings and a gourmet walk through the best and most authentic of wine-making France. Armed with the indispensable tool, a tasting glass given at the entrance, the independent wine-growers will welcome you in their wine cellar.

It’s not a usual event. Here, everything is planned to make you discover and talk with the wine-grower. You won’t see any sales representative, trader or cooperative… Indeed, behind each stand, the wine-grower who made his wine will make you taste and discover it. Accompanied by his wife or his children who work with him at the property.

Discovering a wine is discovering a man and his individuality. We often say that a wine looks like its wine-grower, rough, light, subtle, vigorous, in short, all these qualities are to be discovered by visitors. The wine-grower takes his time to tell all the elementary things you have to know about his region, the designation, the grape varieties, the terroir nature and the story of the property… The result of this exchange enables attentive visitors to enjoy the various regions and the richness of the vineyards gathered at the fair.

Regions in a perfect disorder…
This arranging can firstly sound like a big “mess” and this is intentional of course! Prestigious designations, the smallest ones or the almost unknown ones are in the same boat. You shall wander across the alleys, with your glass in your hand, and leave for an adventure and make your own opinion…
