Le BHV Marais Loves Mickey Mouse, September 2017’s capsule collection

Le BHV Marais celebrates September by presenting a capsule collection dedicated to one of our all-time favorite hero: Mickey Mouse. From September 6 to 26, the legendary mouse created by Walt Disney takes over Le BHV in Paris for our greatest pleasure. Here is the program of the animations.

Summer holidays are already over but September brings a whole series of surprises. Who says September also says new clothes and new school supplies. To help you out, Le BHV MARAIS takes you to a total immersion into one of our favorite characters’ universe: Mickey Mouse!

From the ground floor to the fifth floor, discover many animations and exclusive items displaying the most famous mouse. Even the façade and the windows have been taken over by Mickey and children as well as parents are delighted to discover all the nods to their childhood hero hidden everywhere in the shopping mall.

You’ll be immersed as soon as you see the store but once you’re inside you’re facing a spectacular anamorphosis in tribute to Mickey Mouse created by the group Truly Design. A bit further, still on the ground floor, visitors discover a huge participative work created by the group and inviting the hidden created talents as long as the event is held.

Still on the ground floor, discover Disney’s Store pop-up store with a selection of items focused on Mickey and friends, a selection of gifts picturing the famous character and a fashion capsule collection for women, men and children created by the brand Galeries Lafayette. You can also customize your shirts with various illustrations inspired by Disney’ legendary mouse and realized by the winners of the Disney Project 2017 of the French Institute of Fashion (IFM).

On the second floor, visitors attend a signing session and take part in a workshop to learn how to draw Mickey:

Wednesday September 13, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., on the second floor, 3 French authors who wrote unique stories of Mickey sign their comic books.
Saturday September 16, adults and children from 7 years old take part in a free workshop at the bookstore to learn to draw Mickey Mouse as it should be, in presence of professional cartoonist Fabrizio Petrossi.

On the fifth and last floor, discover the MickeyPhon. This futuristic sculpture is actually a kinetic experience. The MickeyPhon is an interactive, technologic and innovating work created by the Polish artist band Pangenerator and inspired by Mickey. This work reacts to the movements of the visitors as well as to sounds. The MickeyPhon samples noises and instantly include them in a song always evolving. On the digital display, the graphic interpretations of the produced noises appear.

In total, LE BHV MARAIS brings together a selection of trendy gifts including exclusive items such as Mickey Leblon Delienne sculptures, Glénat books, bags and clutches, stickers, accessorizes for smartphones and even household linen.

In short, Le BHV Maris gives the occasion to the most organized among us to start their Christmas presents.
