Koché is the arty fashion brand you should remember! The brand has a line mixing streetwear and couture and has already seduced many artists. Pieces to shop online or at Galeries Lafayette Champs Elysées, Printemps and Bon Marché or even at L’Eclaireur, L’insane and Tom Greyhound.
Created in 2015 by Christelle Kocher, the brand Koché is like its founder: authentic. The cultural mingling and the mix of genres are at the heart of the collections. For this graduate from the Saint Martins School who worked in Milano, Antwerp and New York (for Bottega Veneta, Dries Van Notten and even Chloé and Martine Sitbon), travelling and cultural differences are the base of her creativity.
A fertile ground giving birth to an ultra-creative wardrobe where you can find revisited sport classics such as jersey and polo shirts as well as high-waisted pants, shimmering dresses and colorful coats. The whole tailored in fabrics and colors that make the difference.
Popular and aesthetic, the brand wins in 2019 the ANDAM prize [National Association for Developing Fashion Arts] to give a worthy boost to Koché’s development. The different collaborations with Nike, Paris Saint Germain and even La Redoute help giving it a beautiful shop window.
Speaking of women, minority communities, putting a meaning and emotions to the heart of the aesthetic approach is Christelle Kocher’s challenge. We particularly enjoy the small video clips produced by the brand and highlighting the Koché spirit: open-minded, mixed and inventive!
With this particularity of organizing fashion shows in uncommon venues, whether it’s the Casino de Paris, a RER station or a passage in the 10th arrondissement, Koché pursues its will to democratize fashion by taking it out of its usual box so that all creativities can get it too.
Organized at Paris AccorHotels Arena, the last Fall-Winter 2019/2020 show fully plays with the sport codes, as a nod to the FIFA Women’s World Cup. You can see the pictures on the brand’s website and get an idea before you pop into the store and try the clothes on.
